Advanced Placement (AP) Exam Info for 2024-2025
- AP Exam Sales begin on Tuesday, October 1 at 7:00 A.M.
- Each student must have a College Board online account. If you do not have one, you must create one at
- Students will obtain a "Join Code" from each of your AP teachers, and "join" their AP classroom on College Board.
- The JBHS Instruction office will change each student's AP exam registration status as "UNDECIDED" until they have paid.
- Students will pay for the AP exam(s) at:

7:00 a.m. - 8:15 a.m., nutrition, lunch
- The deadline to purchase AP exam(s) will be Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
- Students that want to purchase a LATE AP exam(s) through December 19th will incur a $40 late fee in addition to the price of $99 per exam.
- Canceled/Unused Exam(s):
-Before November 7th: Full Refund
-November 16th-March 14th: Partial Refund ($40 late cancellation fee per exam incurred)
-After March 15th or unused exams: No Refund
AP EXAM PAYMENT
Purchase exams online through the JBHS Webstore.
- Go to the JBHS Webstore
- Log in using the 5-digit student I. D. number
- Click on purchase AP test
- Select the test subject(s) you need to purchase, add to cart
- Pay with credit card

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
- To qualify for a fee reduction for the AP exams, please email the letter that states you have been approved for the free and reduced lunch program for the current school year to Ms. Perez in the main office. The reduced fee for AP testing is $37 plus $40 late fee, if applicable.

CAST
The California Science Test (CAST) is an online assessment based on the California Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). All local educational agencies (LEAs) with eligible students in grades five and eight and in high school will administer the CAST field test online. Students will not receive scores for the field test; however, student participation data will be collected and reported for accountability.

Students in grades three through eight and grade eleven will receive full-length summative tests for both English language arts/literacy and mathematics, with approximately seven to eight hours of total testing time for each student. Every device used for testing must have a secure browser installed. Stable, high-speed Internet is required.

Physical Fitness Test
The physical fitness test (PFT) for students in California schools is the FITNESSGRAM. The main goal of the test is to help students in starting life-long habits of regular physical activity. Public school students in grades five, seven, and nine are required to take the PFT, whether or not they are enrolled in a physical education class or participate in a block schedule. Students who are physically unable to take the entire test battery are to be given as much of the test as his or her condition will permit. (Education Code (EC) Section 60800 and the California Code of Regulations, Title 5, section 1041).
